The owner's culinary expertise from his time in the UK and Germany really shone through. the proximity to the beach, although not directly in front of the hotel, was still conveniently close and offered a nice getaway. The location of the hotel, nestled between Uppuveli and Trincomalee city, provided a peaceful and quiet atmosphere.
Upon arrival, the hotel was experiencing a power outage and did not have a backup generator. This meant no air conditioning, lights, or power outlets for the entire day.
